How I turned a paper drawing into a print on demand dress! 🎨👗
STEP 1:
Sketch your design
The first thing you need is a design idea. You can draw anything you want, as long as it fits on a piece of paper. I decided to go for a floral pattern with some geometric shapes. I used a pencil and some colored markers to create my sketch. You can also use digital tools like Photoshop or Procreate if you prefer. The important thing is to have fun and express your creativity!
STEP 2:
Scan or take a photo of your drawing / Sketch / design
The next step is to digitize your drawing or photo. You can either scan it using a scanner or take a photo of it using your phone or camera. Make sure the image is clear and high-resolution. You can also edit it using any software you like, such as cropping, resizing, adjusting the colors, adding filters, etc. The goal is to make your image look as close as possible to how you want your dress to look.
STEP 3:
Upload your image to the Print-On-Demand platform

To upload your image to ArtsCow, you need to create an account and choose the product you want to make. In my case, I selected the Women’s Skater Dress. Then, you need to upload your image and adjust it to fit the template. You can also choose the color and size of your dress. ArtsCow will show you a mockup of how your dress will look like before you order it.
STEP 4:
Order your dress or sell it online
Once you’re happy with your design, you can either order your dress for yourself or sell it online. If you order it for yourself, you just need to enter your shipping details and pay for your order. ArtsCow will print and ship your dress to you in a few days. You can track your order status and delivery time on their website.
If you want to sell your dress online, ArtsCow also provides an e-commerce platform for selling your designs. This way, you can create your own online store and list your products for sale.
